The BLT Story

About 18 years ago we had some Bruce Gordon bikes made in Japan - 275 total. For years after that we would hear that all Bruce Gordon bikes were made in Japan or Taiwan. At that time we decided that only bikes built in our factory in California would have the Bruce Gordon name on the downtube. Because we wanted a less expensive model than our Rock 'n Road Tour, we came up with the BLT brand for our Japanese model.

Since that time, we have decided to bring the production of the lower priced touring bikes back to our factory. We are calling them the Bruce Gordon BLT model, and THEY ARE ALL BUILT IN THE U.S.. It was easier than coming up with a new model name. Marketing is not our specialty, and, besides, we liked the BLT designation.

The Bruce Gordon BLT

Designed for serious loaded touring, with tubing and frame geometry that ensures a stable ride.
Versatile - 700c geometry will accept standard road tires, as well as the fattest 700x45c off-road capable tires.
