We use different gauges of 4130 chrome-moly steel tubing. Its unique shape is designed to maximize pannier support for unparalleled stability on the road. We even include separate eyelets to facilitate more rigid fender mounting. It is fully adjustable and available in 16 models for a perfect fit on any bicycle. Chrome-Moly Front Rack

Our Front Lowriding Rack is made with the same aircraft grade tubing as our rear rack. Its unique one-piece construction incorporates a number of thoughtful design touches that add to the function of any touring bike. All rack joints are machine mitered, more precisely than most bicycle frames. A slight outward cant at the bottom of the rack not only facilitates wheel removal, but guarantees that your pack can't chafe on the quick release skewer or front axle. And the superior strength and rigidity afforded by its chrome-moly tubing means more of your energy can be spent covering miles, not fighting to control the weight of your loaded bicycle. You can ride farther, easier and more securely, on or off the road.

When we set about designing a High Mount Front Rack, we knew it would have to be more than just a rear rack in reverse. It would have to give the ground clearance of a high mount design while retaining much of the stability and ease of control of a low mount rack. Sound like a contradiction? - Not any more.

Introducing the high mount rack that thinks it's a low mount rack. Our revolutionary wedge shape lets you place your packs at the steering axis on the bike, much like a good low mount design. The side platform that supports your packs also keeps them from fouling your brakes.
